Happy 33 K!!!

The weather was a perfect Fall day, the Rockies were back home for a
pit stop amidst a long away stretch, a Holiday weekend was just around
the corner, White Water Ramble and The Infamous Stringdusters were
playing the Bluebird, and college football kicked off - pretty much a
perfect scene for K's Birthday!! Which to hear him tell it that's
just how it happens when your birthday falls on the Perfect day of the
year.
So, it is Birthday weekend, which we kicked off Wednesday night when K
got in from work late by opening presents and Wholefoods' carrot cake.
He got some workout wear for his training (considering a marathon in
October) and tickets for The Infamous Stringdusters. Just because he
had to work on his birthday doesn't mean he can't have a good lunch,
so he also got an 8-piece chipotle fried chicken and potato salad to
take to work. We took it easy last night although are going to try
and squeeze in Taste of Colorado and the MSU game (which is on ESPNU)
tonight and then tomorrow is Willie Nelson at Red Rocks . . . oh and of
course Monday is Labor Day so we'll probably grill and watch more
football! I guess that does make for a pretty awesome birthday!
